About Our Organization

Rising Stars of Baltimore is dedicated to enriching the lives of underprivileged youth in Baltimore through the love of basketball. We believe that opportunity and access should not end when the sun goes down. ​

Our mission is to install LED lights on basketball hoops across low-income neighborhoods, empowering aspiring basketball players to practice their passion without the constraints of daylight. By illuminating the courts, we aim to foster a safe, inclusive, and vibrant community where every child has the chance to become a Rising Star. We strive to brighten the path to their dreams, nurturing their skills, resilience, and teamwork, one lit hoop at a time.
